EQT appoints new director in Netherlands
EQT has hired Arjan Snijders as a director in its Amsterdam office, to start in May 2016.
Snijders joins from Amsterdam-based H2 Equity Partners, where he was an investment manager. Prior to that, he worked as strategy and operations consultant for London-based management consulting firm AT Kearney.
A spokesperson for EQT said Snijders would mostly work within the mid-market investment strategy team based in Amsterdam, which also operates in Copenhagen and Munich.
Founded in 1994 in Stockholm, EQT is a private equity fund operating across Europe via several investment strategies, including equity, infrastructure and credit.
It has so far raised 18 funds for a total of €29bn. It has completed around 140 investments and 80 exits since inception, with its current investments amounting to an estimated €17bn spread across 140 companies.
