Main Capital buys Axxerion
Main Capital has acquired a majority stake in Dutch software-as-a-service (SaaS) business Axxerion.
Main Capital aims to support the company's international growth by building on Axxerion's existing partner network in the US, Germany and Poland. It also plans a buy-and-build strategy for the business.
The private equity firm focuses on the software sector in the Benelux region and Germany. It closed its fourth and latest fund on €85m in September last year. The vehicle's two other portfolio companies so far are licensing and planning software Roxit, and managed hosting service Denit Hosting Solutions.

Founded in 2003, Axxerion is a supplier of SaaS for integrated workplace management systems, as well as real estate and general business automation software, with offices in Heteren and Eindhoven.
Axxerion's products are developed specifically for the areas of facilities and IT management, property management and corporate software. The business claims to have 300 customers with 150,000 registered users. Its customers include CBRE Global Investors, KPMG and Rabobank.
