BlackFin leads €15m series-A for Friss
BlackFin Capital Partners and Aquiline Technology Growth have co-led a €15m series-A funding round for risk analytics software company Friss.
The fresh capital will be used to expand globally and facilitate cross-carrier collaboration between insurers.
Michael Cichowski of ATG and Maxime Mandin of BlackFin will join the Friss board of directors.
Friss aims to meet the growing demand it has identified for insurance fraud protection and risk solutions.
Company
Friss provides fraud detection and risk mitigation services to property and casualty insurance companies. It uses its own analytics software to give insurers a Friss score, which indicates risk level. It provides this service to 132 insurers in 26 countries. The firm is headquartered in Utrecht.
