Gimv acquires Impact from Humares
Belgian buyout house Gimv has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Humares Group's recruitment and training brands Impact and Nova Engineering, alongside company management.
Following the transaction, the Belgian group will look to increase its geographical footprint and double its turnover within the next five years.
Gimv said in a statement that Impact will work closely with its portfolio companies to catalyse organic growth.
The deal is the second buyout made by Gimv in quick succession, following the secondary buyout of spa operator France Thermes from Normandie Capital Investissement, Initiative et Finance and Volney Développement earlier this month.
The Impact transaction is subject to approval from competition authorities.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Hasselt, Impact and Nova are recruitment and training businesses focusing on the construction and administrative segments. They have a turnover of €67m, according to the statement, and operate across 17 locations with a total headcount of 100.
