Fortino hires Gimv principal De Troyer
Belgian growth capital investor Fortino Capital has appointed former Gimv principal Steven De Troyer as investment director.
De Troyer will be responsible for sourcing and leading new investments as well as overseeing and managing the performance of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Fortino, De Troyer worked at Belgium-based PE investor Gimv in the consumer technology team. He started his career in London where he worked in the M&A departments of ING and UBS in the TMT sector.
Fortino is currently in the market with its second fund, Fortino Capital II Growth, which held a first close on €125m in November 2017.
