Mentha backs Ofyr
Mentha Capital has acquired a stake in Dutch barbecue and outdoor cooking accessory vendor Ofyr.
The GP is currently investing from its fifth buyout fund, Mentha Capital V, which held a final close on €143m in January 2017.
Ofyr was founded in 2015 and is now sold in 70 countries. Mentha said it was impressed by the growth trajectory and would support the company's further growth plans.
Company
Dutch entrepreneur Hans Goossens founded Ofyr in 2015. Its main product is a conical fire pit made of Corten steel; it also sells a range of outdoor cooking accessories such as spatulas, aprons and gloves.
