Waterland invests in Intracto
Waterland Private Equity has invested in Belgian digital consultant Intracto alongside its founder Pieter Janssens.
The GP drew capital from its €2bn Waterland Private Equity Fund VII, which closed on its target in August 2017.
Intracto had already begun making small acquisitions, including the takeover of digital content producer Snackbytes in September this year. Waterland will support an accelerated buy-and-build strategy for the business.
Janssens will re-invest in the business alongside Waterland for a significant stake.

Intracto was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Herentals, Belgium. The company is an independent digital consulting company with clients including Michelin, Volvo and Akzonobel. It employs 250 people and generated sales of €30m in 2017.
