
Value Enhancement Partners buys Frimex in SBO
PE firm Mentha Capital has sold Netherlands-based Frimex, a cooling, electrical and climate technology systems specialist, to Value Enhancement Partners.
The company was acquired by Mentha Capital in 2014 in a carve-out from TBI.
Mentha held a final close for Mentha Capital IV on €107m in 2015. The fund typically provides equity investments of €5-15m in companies with enterprise values of €15-75m, revenues of €25-75m and EBITDA of €2-10m.
Value Enhancement Partners typically provides equity tickets in the €5-30m range, in businesses with sales of €25-300m.

Frimex designs and installs systems related to cooling, electrical and climate technology, serving retailers and hospitality businesses. In a statement it claims to supply major Dutch retailers. Headquartered in Moordrecht, Frimex employs around 300 people.
