MKB Fonds buys majority stake in Heditex
MKB Fonds has acquired a majority stake in Netherlands-based Heditex, a furniture and home decoration company.
The deal, valued under €25m, was sourced in a proprietary fashion, with around 3-4 potential buyers of which only MKB Fonds was a PE firm, Unquote understands.
The GP used its MKB Participatiefonds IV fund for the transaction, Unquote has learned.
MKB Fonds paid several million euros for Heditex, the Dutch daily Het Financieele Dagblad reported.
Company
Based in Vlaardingen, Heditex is specialised in furniture and home decoration, providing floors, curtains and mats among other items. The business generates a turnover of more than €10m and employs 28 people.
