Main Capital buys King Business Software
Main Capital has acquired Netherlands-based accountancy software business King Business Software, and plans to merge it with other portfolio companies.
The acquisition of King represents the third by Main Capital in the financial administrative software space. Main Capital acquired Muis Software in 2017 and bolted on Ctrl in early 2019.
Muis, Ctrl and King will be combined to create a company focused on accountancy software, enterprise resource planning and warehouse management software, operating in the Benelux region. The new company will have 120 employees and serve around 25,000 customers, according to a statement.

Founded in 1981 and based in Capelle aan den Ijssel, King specialises in accountancy software, invoicing, customer relationship management, inventory management and project administration. The company employs 70 people.
