
Main Capital sells Denit for €20m
Main Capital has sold its controlling stake in cloud software firm Denit to trade buyer Uniserver for €20m.
The trade buyer, which is a Netherlands-based cloud distributor, will wholly acquire the company. Founder Dennis Bruin will also leave the company permanently.
Both Uniserver and Denit will continue to operate under their own brands from offices in Alkmaar and Amsterdam, respectively.
Previous funding
Main Capital acquired the company in 2016, drawing equity from its fourth fund, which closed on its €85m hard-cap in September 2015.
Main Capital supported Denit with the add-on acquisition of Dutch Cloud in 2017.

Founded in 1999, Denit is headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and employs 40 people. The core strategy of the company is to provide software companies and IT services with cloud infrastructure to ensure increased uptime and business continuity.
