Levine Leichtman sells stake in ZorgDomein
Levine Leichtman Capital Partners has sold its stake in Netherlands-based GP and hospital referral platform ZorgDomein to Rabobank.
Rabobank will own a 34% stake in the company following the transaction. The firm is investing via its Corporate Investments arm, according to a statement.
A report from Dutch publication Het Financieele Dagblad stated that Dutch health insurers had also considered acquiring a stake in the business, but that no deal was reached.
Levine Leichtman said in a statement that the GP supported ZorgDomein's growth during the investment period via investment in new product areas such as data analytics and consumer-facing initiatives.
Levine Leichtman invested in ZorgDomein in May 2017 via its Europe Fund, which held a final close in March 2015 on €100m. The GP invested in the business alongside its management and a number of founding shareholders.
