
Keensight Capital acquires Ram-IT
Keensight Capital has bought a majority stake in Dutch IT infrastructure management specialist Ram Infotechnology (RAM-IT).
Following the deal, the co-founders, Joachim Kaarsgaren and Dirk Fabels, and the management team will stay on with the business as minority shareholders and remain actively involved in Ram-IT's operations.
Keensight intends to boost the company's growth, further develop its technology and bolster its expansion.
The GP is currently investing its Keensight Capital V Fund, which held a final close on €1bn in March 2019. The vehicle targets profitable companies with high-growth potential and revenues in the €10-300m range, primarily operating in the technology and healthcare sectors.

Established in 1992 and based in Utrecht, Ram-IT is an IT infrastructure management company dedicated to the healthcare sector.
Employing 220 staff, the business serves around 300 clients, primarily nursing homes, care centres and hospitals.
Ram-IT expects to reach revenues of €45m in 2021.
