
Advent picks up Gilde’s Ammeraal Beltech
Advent International has acquired Ammeraal Beltech, a conveyor belting business, from Gilde Buy Out Partners and Parcom Capital Management.
Ammeraal Beltech is part of Gamma Holdings, which is jointly owned by Gilde and Parcom.
Earlier this month, the buyout duo sold off mattress producer Bekaert Textiles – another Gamma division – to German family office Haniel.
Following the deal, Advent will support the company's growth in China and South America.
Previous funding
Gilde first invested in Gamma in June 2010, when the buyout house acquired a stake in the technical textile manufacturer from ASR Nederland, Delta Lloyd Asset Management and Allianz Nederland Levensverzekering in a €27.2m PIPE deal.
Six months later, Gilde teamed up with Parcom to take Gamma Holdings private. The latter already held a 26% stake in the industrial conglomerate. The €429m transaction valued the business's equity at €218m.

Established in 1950 and headquartered in the Netherlands, Ammeraal Beltech provides conveyor belts for use in the food processing, automotive, logistics and textile secotrs. The company operates nine production facilities and 80 service centres. It counts 25,000 customers in 150 countries.
In 2014, Ammeraal Beltech generated turnover of €325m.
