Karmijn Kapitaal backs MBO of YouMedical

CEO Jan Herweijer will continue to hold a majority stake in the company. Other members of the management team invested as well. 

The new capital will be used to support YouMedial's continued international expansion.

Amsterdam-based YouMedical is a provider of innovative medical equipment. Jan Herweijer founded the company in 2006. Its product portfolio includes the antifungal nail treatment Nailner. YouMedical's products are sold in more than 30 countries worldwide.

People
Karmijn co-founder Desiree van Boxtel led the deal on behalf of the GP. Kan Herweijer will remain in the position of CEO following the conclusion of the deal.
