Holland Venture sells De Ridder to Bunzl
Holland Venture has sold De Ridder Producten, a Dutch provider of non-food products for prisons and psychiatric facilities, to London-based outsourcing and distribution company Bunzl.
De Ridder's employees will join Bunzl, and the company's management will continue to be involved following the acquisition.
Under Holland Venture's ownership, De Ridder has bolstered its operations both nationally and internationally.
The firm said it has received an "excellent return" from the investment.
Previous funding
Holland Venture invested in the management buyout of De Ridder in March 2012. The capital was earmarked for national growth as well as entering new international markets. The company also noted at the time it would consider acquisitions.
Holland Venture typically invests anywhere from €500,000-5m in deals of up to €25m in volume. It targets companies that generate €5-50m in turnover.
