
Platinum acquires Ten Cate Enbi
US firm Platinum Equity has signed an agreement with Dutch multinational Royal Ten Cate over the acquisition of its subsidiary Ten Cate Enbi, a supplier of print rollers.
Platinum is making the investment from its $3.75bn buyout fund, Platinum Equity Capital Partners III.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of this year.

Royal Ten Cate is headquartered in Almelo. It is listed on the NYSE Euronext Amsterdam exchange.
Ten Cate Enbi is a supplier of components and materials such as paper transport, fusing and image transfer rollers to original equipment manufacturers in the printer and copier sectors.
The company has manufacturing facilities in Germany, Hungary, China and the US.

Jim Maulucci is the CEO of Ten Cate Enbi. Farhaad Wadia, senior vice president of Platinum's lower-mid-market group, led the deal.
