
Écart acquires Minox
Écart Invest has acquired a majority stake in Minox Software, a Dutch developer of accounting software, for €2.5m.
The firm has bought its stake in the company from managing director Ton Janssen, who is stepping down from his position to take up a seat on the supervisory board.
Janssen had bought the company in 1990 from its founder, Frans Schaake, and changed its name two years later from Midas to Minox Software.

Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Veenendaal, Minox develops administrative accounting software for SMEs, freelancers and accountancy firms.
The company has a client base of around 5,000. Customers include Brouwers and Discovery Channel.
People
Ton Janssen is the outgoing managing director of Minox. Paul Brouwer is its commercial director.
