Henq leads €1.5m round for Casengo
Henq Venture Capital has led a €1.5m funding round for Casengo, a Dutch provider of cloud-based social customer support software.
Henq led a consortium of European investors to back Casengo.
Company
Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Casengo provides cloud-based software for social customer support, designed to allow companies to provide customer service through email, social media and online chat.
It claims that more than 2,300 companies currently use its software product. Customers include easygenerator, Gigantisch, Chilly and Totaal.
The company's product launched out of beta in December 2012. It employs 12 staff.
People
CEO Floris van der Veen founded Casengo alongside his brother Thijs, who is the company's CTO. Herman Hintzen is a managing partner at Henq.
