
HitecVision backs Vryhof Anchors
HitecVision has acquired 71.3% of Vryhof Anchors, a Netherlands-based provider of drag anchors used in the offshore oil & gas industry.
Prior to the transaction, Vryhof was wholly owned by CEO Øyvind Wathne and managing director Henri Korsten.
Following the deal, management and key people will hold the remaining shares in the company. HitecVision plans to execute a buy-and-build strategy for Vryhof, combined with organic growth.

Founded in the early 1970s and headquartered in the Netherlands, Vryhof Anchors is a global provider of drag anchors that are used in the offshore oil & gas industry, mainly by offshore floating drilling rigs and permanent floating offshore production systems.
In addition to the Netherlands, Vryhof has sales offices in Russia, France, the US, Brazil and Singapore.
