
PPM Oost invests in SolabCool
Dutch VC PPM Oost has backed SolabCool, a Dutch manufacturer of air conditioners.
The capital was invested via the Innovation and Investment fund Gelderland. It will be used to kick-start the production of the company's air conditioner range, starting from September.
PPM's previous investment was a joint €2.6m capital injection in Amersfoort-based pharmaceuticals business Medisse in January this year.
The venture capital house's latest exit was the sale of Pharmaline to Gilde Healthcare Partners in February.
Company
SolabCool uses waste heat to produce cooling for homes and business premises. The company's first customer is a utility building in Duiven, the Netherlands.
SolabCool is based in Duiven and focuses its production on the Dutch market.
