Notion leads $2.4m round for Wercker
Notion Capital has led a $2.4m funding round for Wercker, a Dutch provider of continuous code delivery software for developers.
Seattle-based firm Tola Capital took part in the funding round, alongside the company's existing investors, namely Dutch angel syndicate Vitulum Ventures, Shamrock Ventures and Amsterdam-based Rockstart Accelerator.
The fresh funding will be used by Wercker to continue its current international expansion efforts.
The company recently announced that OpenStack co-founder Andy Smith had joined its team as CTO.
Previous funding
In January 2013, Wercker secured seed funding in a round led by Shamrock with participation from Vitulum and Greylock Partners.
The company took part in Rockstart's start-up incubator programme in 2012.
Company
Founded in 2012, Wercker is headquartered in Amsterdam with a recently opened US base in San Francisco. The company has developed a continuous delivery platform for developers, designed to help developers test and deploy code often in a more efficient and less wasteful manner.
The company employs 10 staff, though it plans on growing its work force this year.

Micha Hernández van Leuffen is the CEO of Wercker. Chris Tottman is a partner at Notion.
