Newion et al. invest in Vector Fabrics
Newion Investments, PPM Oost and Point One Innovation Fund have invested in Vector Fabrics, a Dutch provider of software development tools.
Newion and Point One are existing investors in the company.
Vector will use the fresh capital to further develop its tools for software development.
Previous funding
In November 2008, Point One and TechnoStars provided funding for Vector's series-A round, with Point One supplying €800,000, according to unquote" data.
This was followed by an investment from Newion and Point One, with the former investing via its €50m Newion II fund.
Company
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Eindhoven, Vector develops tools for designers of multi-core, multi-threaded applications and embedded systems.
Its Pareon product is designed to aid in the optimisation of software development for multi-core mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
The company's products are aimed at the automotive, consumer electronics and medical sectors. It employs 20 staff.
