
Rabo Capital backs Delta Wines MBO
Rabo Capital has signed an agreement with HAL Investments to buy a stake in Dutch wine wholesaler Delta Wines.
Rabo Capital and Delta Wines' management have secured a 65% stake in the company.
The transaction is still subject to approval from competition authorities, but is expected to be completed in the coming months.
Company
Delta Wines is a Dutch importer and distributor of wines. In 2010 the company had a turnover of €96m. The firm's subsidiaries include DGS Wijnkopers, Coenecoop Wine Traders and Pallas Wines, which cater to the low-price, organic and premium segments respectively.
Delta Wines is based in Waddinxveen, South Holland.
