
Parcom’s Bakkersland sells ZAV unit
Parcom Capital-backed Bakkersland Groep, a Dutch bakery product wholesaler, has sold its bread-packaging products division to Dutch Bakery.
The sale to Dutch Bakery includes Bakkersland's ZAV bakeries in Eindhoven and Tilburg and its distribution hub in Tilburg.
Bakkersland will continue to run its fresh bread, bake-off bread and pastries divisions.
Parcom acquired Bakkersland in September 2008, buying a 44% stake and upping this to 88% later that same month, according to unquote" data. The vendors were Polder Bakkersland and Rucola.

The company operates 15 bakeries. It employs around 1,900 staff and generates €434m in revenues.
