
b-to-v backs Effect Photonics
b-to-v Partners has led a series-A funding round for Effect Photonics, a Dutch developer of optical communications products.
Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and Dutch company Optidob also took part in the round.
Effect Photonics will use the capital injection to roll out its optical system-on-chip product to market.

Founded in 2010 as a spinout from the Technical University of Eindhoven, Effect Photonics develops optical communications products using its dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) optical system-on-chip technology.
The company is headquartered in Eindhoven with a research and development centre in the UK.
People
James Regan is the CEO of Effect Photonics. Christian Reitberger, who is part of the b-to-v circle of investors, has joined the company's board of directors on behalf of b-to-v. Miriam Dragstra is a managing director at BOM.
