RBVC leads €5m funding round for Intrinsic-ID
Robert Bosch Venture Capital (RBVC) has joined Prime Ventures in supporting Dutch IT security company Intrinsic-ID with a €5m commitment.
Prime Ventures invested alongside RBVC in this financing round. The new capital will be used to expand the company's workforce in the areas of sales and engineering.
Company
Intrinsic-ID is a Dutch IP security solutions company based in Eindhoven. It was spun out of Philips by Prime Ventures and Intrinsic CEO Pim Tuyls in 2008. Besides IP security it also focuses on cloud storage, mobile payments and content protection security. Its technology is applied worldwide.
The company is located on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

Claus Schmidt, managing director, led the investment on behalf of RBVC. Sake Bosch, managing partner, was responsible for Prime Ventures part of the deal. Pim Tuyls is CEO of Intrinsic-ID
