
H2 merges Durobor and Sobodec Group
H2 Private Equity Partners has acquired Belgian glass manufacturer Durobor and French-Belgian glass decoration company Sobodec Group.
H2 acquired Durobor and Sobodec in order to combine the companies' management teams and rebuild the Durobor brand.
Durobor received financing from the Wallonian governement to invest in new machinery as part of the deal.
Sobodec's shareholders will continue to hold a minority stake in the newly formed group.

Durobor is a Soignies-based speciality glass manufacturer and supplier. Sobodec is a French-Belgian glass decoration company. It is based in Herentals. Combined, Durobor and Sobodec have annual revenues of €52m.
