
Altor picks up Infotheek
Altor has acquired a majority stake in Dutch business Infotheek International, which resells refurbished IT products.
Altor invested via Altor Fund IV, which closed on €2bn in July 2014, and will support the company with its plans to further internationalise.
The GP has prior experience of the IT reselling market through its investment in Dustin, which was listed on NASDAQ Stockholm in February 2015.
Company
Established in 1991, Infotheek offers new, end-of-life, renewed and refurbished IT hardware to businesses. It also provides software, rental services and cloud, wireless, installation and maintenance services.
The company is headquartered in Leiden in the Netherlands and has further offices in Spain, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Bulgaria, Poland and Lithuania.
Infotheek employs 500 people and generates a turnover of €300m.
