
Genesis appoints Janovský as CFO

CEE-focused private equity house Genesis Capital has hired Petr Janovský as chief financial officer along with new investment analyst Adam Ruta.
The new hires reflect the growth of the GP's investment activities and acquisitions of its latest vehicle, Genesis Private Equity Fund III, the GP said.
Prior to joining Genesis, Janovský worked in various roles in the finance departments of GE Money Bank, HSBC and Komerční Banka. He specialised in the financial management of bank subsidiaries, M&A transactions and strategic projects. In the context of acquisitions, he focuses on the valuation of financial institutions and loan portfolios. He was also engaged in pension and investment funds operations.
Meanwhile, Adam Ruta previously gained experience in corporate finance and worked as a financial controller in the construction and energy industries.
