
Genesis hires two for investment team

CEE-focused private equity house Genesis Capital has hired Tatiana Balkovicová and Martin Viliš for its investment team.
Both new hires will be active in raising funds for the planned Genesis Private Equity Fund IV.
Prior to joining Genesis, Balkovicová worked at Deloitte where she held managerial positions in the financial advisory department of Deloitte's Prague offices since joining in 2006. She started her career in the financial advisory services department in KPMG's Prague offices. Balkovicová previously worked with Genesis on transactions with its portfolio companies POS Media and D2G.
Viliš joins from Czech bank Česká Spořitelna, where he worked as head of acquisition and leveraged finance. Prior to that, he worked in various specialist and managerial positions at HVB Bank, Živnostenská Banka, and Commerzbank. Viliš has participated in a number of Genesis acquisitions and leveraged finance transactions, including Sanborn, HP Tronic, Eqos, GTH Catering and KS Klima.
