Genesis hires senior investment analyst
Czech private equity firm Genesis Capital has hired Tomáš Sýkora as senior investment analyst.
In his new role, Sýkora will be responsible for finding investment opportunities and overseeing companies in the Genesis fund portfolio, as well as for producing corporate and industry analyses.
Prior to joining, he was chief analyst at Patria Finance, where he started in 2010 and focused on equity analysis of companies traded on the Prague stock exchange and in the CEE region, with a specific focus on the energy sector. Before Patria, Sýkora worked in the financial asset management department of Generali, where he managed both bond and equity portfolios.
The latest hire follows the appointments of Tatiana Balkovicová and Martin Viliš, experts in financial advisory and acquisition financing, respectively, in July, and CFO Petr Janovský and analyst Adam Ruta earlier in the year.
