LauncHub Ventures raising new €70m fund
LauncHub Ventures, a Bulgaria-based seed- and series-A-stage venture capital investor, is raising a new €70m fund, according to a partner at the VC, Rumen Iliev.
The new fund will target companies in south-eastern Europe, particularly Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia, and is focusing on IT companies, Iliev said.
LauncHub Ventures aims to invest €1-1.5m in series-A or pre-series-A investment in startups – larger than its previous two funds have made, he said.
The new fund has €25m committed to date and hopes to close in Q1 or Q2 next year, Iliev said.
LauncHub Ventures' portfolio companies operate in the fields of software-as-a-service, enterprise software, health technology, e-commerce, mobile and Internet of Things (IoT).
