Iron Wolf Capital eyes €30m-plus fund launch after 2023
Baltic venture capital investor Iron Wolf Capital foresees launching a new fund targeting in excess of €30m "after 2023", partner Zygimantas Susnys has told Unquote.
The firm will aim to have its second fund ready after the end of the investment period of its first €21m seed capital fund, Susnys added. The first fund was launched at the beginning of 2019, with its investment period ending at the end of 2023, Susnys said.
He declined to comment on the planned fundraising and the schedule in more detail.
Iron Wolf will target investors such as the European Investment Fund, pension funds, family offices and high-net-worth individuals for its new fund, Susnys added.
Iron Wolf is a seed-stage VC fund with a focus on disruptive technologies, including artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, software-as-a-service, "deep-tech", financial technology, and marketplaces, according to its website. The firm may review its targeted sectors for its second fund, Susnys said, but will keep its focus on the Baltic region and seed- to early-stage growth businesses.
