Mid Europa promotes seven
Mid Europa Partners has promoted Dominika Kozlowska-Login and Viktoria Habanova to associate directors, Lukasz Włodarczyk to senior associate and Bartosz Malecki, Can Karapence, Filip Kisdobranski and Tomas Vrba to associates.
A part of Mid Europa since 2012, Kozlowska-Login is based in Warsaw and was previously employed by buyout house Montagu Private Equity and accountancy PwC.
Viktoria Habanova, associate director, Mid Europa Partners
London-based Habanova was recruited by Mid Europa in 2010 after a two-year stint as an analyst at JP Morgan.
The two professionals are the latest to be named as associate directors by Mid Europa, after Berke Biricik, Csanad Daniel and Ratko Jovic were promoted to the role in 2015.
Mid Europa's newest senior associate, Włodarczyk joined the firm as an intern in 2010 and was promoted to analyst in July 2011 and associate in January 2013. Prior to the CEE-focused GP, he was an intern within Deloitte's M&A team and Axa's asset management department, among others.
New associate Karapence was recruited by Mid Europa in 2013 and will work from the GP's Istanbul offices. As for Kisdobranksi and Vrba, they both came on board with the firm in 2015 and will be based in London.
The wave of promotions comes three weeks after Mid Europa divested its stake in Baltic mobile network operator Bite to Providence Equity Partners after an eight-year tenure.
