Invest AD and SBI to inject $100m into Turkish private equity
Abu Dhabi's Invest AD and Japan's SBI Holdings are investing in a new private equity fund worth $100m, which focuses on acquisitions in Turkey.
The vehicle will be jointly managed by the firms through an office in Istanbul. It will supply growth capital and employ its international network and expertise to help promising companies in the consumer goods, food, retail, service, pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
The partners will invest equally in the fund and may consider taking on other investors for specific deals.
