
Enterprise Investors backs Jantoń MBO
Enterprise Investors has backed Jantoń vice-president Jakub Nowak's MBO of the Polish wine producer.
The GP tapped its €314m vehicle, Polish Enterprise Fund VII, which held a final close in May 2013, to wholly acquire the company.
Jantoń aims to take advantage of the change in consumer preference towards flavoured alcoholic beverages with lower alcohol content. Enterprise Investors said in a statement that the company has excellent growth prospects and is well positioned to act as a consolidation platform.

Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Dobron, Jantoń is a fruit and grape wine producer and distributor. Its core products are wines, ciders and other flavoured alcoholic beverages. The company generated revenues of more than €40m in 2016.
