Marathon holds €32m second close for seed fund
Greek venture capital firm Marathon Venture Capital has held a second close on €32m for its seed fund.
The Athens-based firm seeks to invest in early-stage tech companies. It will lead seed rounds and inject between €500,000-1m for 15-20% equity stakes.
Investors
Latest investors to have committed to the fund include the European Investment Fund and the Greek government's fund-of-funds Equifund.
Investments
To date, the fund has made two investments, including in Brighton-based Landoop, a data streaming management platform, and Stockholm-based Norbloc, a 'know-your-customer' platform allowing easy onboarding, updating and monitoring of customer files for financial services companies.
