C2H acquires Kara
Prague-based private equity firm C2H has acquired a 90% stake in Czech leather clothing manufacturer and retailer Kara.
The firm acquired the business from Czech businessman Zdenek Rinth, who retains a 10% stake.
C2H is eyeing the European fashion retail sector for more opportunities, according to a local press report citing the GP's CEO Michal Micka.
The private equity house has favoured the IT and technology sector until recently, when it started an acquisition trail in the fashion sector with the buyout of Czech fashion retail chain Pietro Filipi at the end of 2017.
