
Arx Equity Partners acquires TMX
CEE-based private equity firm Arx Equity Partners has acquired Hungary-based TMX Mobile Solutions, a mobile phone repair and refurbishment provider.
The GP will partner with the company's senior management, who retain a significant minority stake following the conclusion of the transaction.
TMX will continue its expansion in the local Hungarian market and seek opportunities in the wider CEE market.
The deal is the second investment from the fourth Arx-managed private equity fund, Arx CEE IV, which held a close on €95m in October 2017.
Company
Headquartered in Budaörs, TMX is a mobile device repair company. It offers physical repairs, logistics and refurbishments of mobile phones, and repairs around 500,000 mobile devices annually for B2B customers. Its clients consist of major mobile device OEMs, smartphone insurance providers and mobile operators.
TMX employs a staff of 400 and expects turnover of €40m in 2018.
