
Abris acquires WDX
Abris Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in Warsaw-headquartered warehouse and logistics service WDX.
The CEE-focused private equity firm completed the acquisition of the business via Woho, a subsidiary of Abris CEE Mid-Market Fund III. The deal is the fourth investment from Abris's largest flagship buyout fund to date; the vehicle closed on €500m in autumn last year.
The company's co-founder and current chair Dariusz Bąkowski will continue as president of the board of WDX.
Under Abris's stewardship, the company intends to focus on strengthening its position in the Polish domestic market.

Established in 1993 and headquartered in Warsaw, WDX is a warehouse and logistics service. It provides warehouse equipment, storage, and the design of logistic systems for internal transport. The firm operates 62 mobile service branches in Poland and employs a staff of 300.
