Arx buys two Czech facades businesses
Arx Equity Partners has acquired Czech glass facades producer Fenestra Wieden and combined it with the carved-out facades business of Skanska.
The newly created business will be rebranded as Fenestra, employ 200 people and expects to generate sales of €40m in 2019.
Arx is currently investing from Arx CEE IV, a €95m fund that held a final close in October 2017.
Company
Fenestra was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Liberec. It is a producer and designer of aluminium-glass modular facades, serving customers throughout Europe. It has additional facilities in Sweden and Slovakia, and employed approximately 90 people prior to the merger with the Skanska division.
