Horizon buys minority stake in Dobrobut
Horizon Capital has acquired a minority stake in Ukrainian hospital and clinic chain Dobrobut.
The GP drew capital from its $200m Emerging Europe Growth Fund III fund, which closed in January and generally writes equity tickets in the range of $5-20m. Dobrobut is the fund's eighth investment since its launch in June 2017.
Dobrobut plans to use the new investment to open new clinics, starting with a 10,000 square metre surgery, oncology and cardiology facility in Kiev.
Private investment firm Concorde Capital bought a majority stake in the business in January 2018 alongside UBG Corporation.
Company
Dobrobut was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Kiev. It operates a network of private clinics in Kiev and the surrounding area.
