Jet Investment buys Tedom
Czech private equity firm Jet Investment has acquired a 55% stake in electricity co-generator manufacturer Tedom.
The GP drew capital from Jet II Fund, which held a final close on CZK 4bn (€153m) in November 2018.
Jet plans to support Tedom's acquisitive growth and sees potential synergies with Jet I Fund portfolio company PBS Power Equipment.
Company
Tedom was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Výčapy with manufacturing plants in Třebíč, Hořovice, Jablonec and Nisou. It makes equipment for biogas electricity generation plants, which it exports to 40 countries. It employs 800 people and generated EBITDA of €25m in 2018.
