
TFI sells stake in Piotr i Pawel to Spar
TFI Capital Partners has sold a stake in Polish supermarket chain Piotr i Pawl to the South African listed food retailer Spar Group.
Spar will acquire the business through its Polish subsidiary, Wasz Sklep Spar, and TFI will retain a minority holding in the company after the deal, according to Polish press reports.
Spar has not issued any press release or official statement at this point as the transaction remains subject to the decision of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, according to a company spokesperson.
