
Omikron buys Polish company Dagat ECO
Polish private equity firm Omikron Capital has wholly acquired Dagat ECO, a Poznan–based metal treatment company.
Omikron managing partner Tomasz Firczyk said the company increased its sales by 60% between 2016 and 2019.
The GP plans to invest in greater automation and robotisation of the company's production plant, and expand the company into new markets, including Germany, France and the Benelux region.
Omikron invests in Polish SMEs, particularly production-focused and services companies with scalable business models.

Founded in 2002 and based in Poznan, Dagat ECO processes metal pipes and profiles for companies in the automotive, medical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, railways and petrochemicals sectors.
In 2019, it generated sales of almost PLN 44m (€9.7m) and EBITDA of PLN 4.4m (€971,000). It has more than 230 employees.
