
Resource Partners acquires Polish company Nesperta
Consumer sector investor Resource Partners has acquired a majority stake in Poland-based nail polish maker Nesperta from its founders.
According to Puls Biznesu, the GP will buy a 70% stake in Nesperta from founding CEO Tomasz Gołębiewski.
The report also noted that, in 2020, Nesperta's revenues increased by around 10% to PLN 150m ($40.3m), from PLN 138m in 2019. Nesperta generated a net profit of PLN 20.4m in 2019.
The GP will help the company with its international expansion and product development.
The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

Based in Poznań, Nesperta is a manufacturer of UV hybrid nail polishes, as well as nail care and nail art products. The company's two main brands, Semilac and HiHybrid, are available to customers through Nesperta's e-commerce platform, professional beauty salons, and drugstore chains, as well as points of sale in shopping malls. It had a turnover of PLN 138m and net profit of PLN 20.4m in 2019.
