
Highlander sells ZREW to CGS-owned R&S Group
US private equity outfit Highlander Partners has sold Polish power transformer producer ZREW Transformatory to R&S International Holding, a Swiss maker of electrical products owned by Swiss GP CGS Management.
Following the deal, ZREW will become a subsidiary of R&S, seeing an end to Highlander's three-year stewardship of the company.
During that time, the GP has doubled the company's production capacity and overseen the expansion of ZREW outside of Poland.

Łódź-based ZREW is a Polish maker of power transformers and electrical components, in business since 1956.
In addition to manufacturing transformers, the company also provides repair, upgrade and diagnostics services for its products.

Dawid Walendowski is the managing partner of Highlander. Giorgio Vannotti is president of the board of R&S.
