21 Partners' Poland fund acquires Hollywood
The Warsaw-based fund of European GP 21 Partners, 21 Concordia, has acquired Polish B2B laundry services company Hollywood in an MBO.
Following the buyout, 21 and Hollywood plan to grow the company organically, as well as through add-on acquisitions.
The founder and CEO of Hollywood, Adam Andrzej Konieczkowski, said in a statement his company would use the capital injection to expand its presence in Poland, enter new market segments and expand the company's geographical reach, with several targets having already been identified.
Concordia drew on equity from its 21 Concordia I fund, which held a final close on €100m in September last year and focuses on Poland, with a remit to invest in neighbouring economies. Hollywood is the fourth buyout made through the fund, having most recently acquired Polish childrenswear company Wojcik.
Company
Hollywood is a Polish B2B laundry service founded in 1995. The business operates six laundry facilities in Poland, providing bed linen and work-wear laundry services, as well as rental services to hotels, hospitals and manufacturing companies.
