DVC Deutsche Venture Capital
Bernhard Schmid has joined DVC's technology team as a partner. He brings ten years of experience in information and communication technology to the company. Prior to joining DVC he was (from 1999 up until 2004) partner and technology expert at Innotech GmbH. From 1994 to 1999 he worked as an investment manager for Atlas Venture, a globally active venture capital company, where he was in charge of investments as well as portfolio and exit management for information and communication technology companies. In addition to supporting existing portfolio companies, Schmid's principal role at DVC is to consist to reinforcing new investments in technological companies with an emphasis on information and communication technologies. He holds a degree in business administration from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.
